AspenTech is currently looking for a dynamic and energetic individual as a Business Operations Assistant to join our Business Operations group. This position is located in our Bedford MA office.
The Business Operations team is at the center of AspenTech’s strategic information and analysis, supporting a high-performance, high-growth sales and marketing force to drive world class financial results. On this team you will help to set best-in-class global commercial and operational standards, define and manage strategic data analysis, and provide critical support to our global sales team. By providing this support to our Sales team, they can focus on creating business partnerships with our customers to deliver tremendous value through our industry-leading software solutions. We are looking for high achievers who enjoy seeking constant improvement and providing excellent customer service, in: sales enablement tools and methodology, go to market strategies, business controls, data management, CRM, planning & analysis, workflows, and process optimization.
Analyze sales, usage and industry data to provide business insights
Manage portfolio of sales reports for sales management and executive level
Assist in the development of sales analytics tools that aid in the tracking of the basics of our business (total addressable market, product line profitability and market segment profitability)
Support initiatives to gather and report on sales metrics
Interact productively with a variety of departments, including Marketing, Sales, Operations & Finance
What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, chemistry, physics, or business required. Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree is a plus.
0-2 years of experience in a corporate setting
Demonstrated ability to deliver results and adapt to changing business requirements; ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and to serve a diverse global team.
Microsoft Excel and Access expertise with experience in creating and using Pivot tables.
Organizational skills and change management for working with large quantities of data.
Attention to detail.
The candidate should have a professional presence and demeanor.
Strong written, presentation and oral communication skills are imperative.
