Working as part of a team, this role provides technical support to AspenTech customers for the aspenONE suite of products with focus on deployment and Manufacturing and Execution System (MES).
Owns, manage and provide resolutions for technical issues reported by customers via telephone, web chat and e-mail.
Escalation of high priority customer issues on a timely basis.
Creation/update of content for esupport portal (knowledge based articles), elearning and classroom training.
Deliver high quality product training to customers through AspenTech public training facilities or on customer site.
Works collaboratively with Small Medium Business (SMB) sales team, playing a role of solutions consultant, to provide pre-sales technical consultation, account planning and related sales activities necessary to support deal closures.
Participate in beta testing of software releases to help drive product quality.
Onsite support for deployment, critical issues and regular health check visits.
Technical Customer Advocate services to help improve the satisfaction of key customers.
What You'll Need
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years of experience in computer networks, administration of client/server applications, database technology or computer programming.
Experience in and proficient with Oracle and MSSQL administration, SQL syntax and writing of db scripts.
Experience in and proficient with Microsoft Server Operating System, security and IIS administration.
Experience in and proficient with at least 1 programming language: VB, C+/C# or Java.
Knowledge and prior experience with AspenTech MES solution is a plus, particularly InfoPlus.21, aspenONE Process Explorer and etc.
Professional Certification from Microsoft / Oracle / CISCO will be added advantage.
Experience in customer facing role or similar capacity.
Excellent communication, customer relationship and strong troubleshooting skills.
Strong written and oral English.
Travel, international and domestic, is required.
Able to work collaboratively across various cultures (internally and externally) and in a high-intensity environment.
