Seeking in house regional lawyer for a US-based technology company. The individual will focus on negotiation of complex commercial licensing and consulting contracts, employment law/dispute resolution and corporate compliance.
The position will be based in Berks./Thames Valley Corridor, UK.
Negotiating, reviewing and drafting complex software license and consulting agreements
Advising management and staff on human resources/employment law issues
Managing dispute resolution (including litigation and arbitration) processes
Implementing corporate programs & policies throughout the region
Managing relationships with outside law firms in the region
Filing statutory documentation for corporate governance and record-keeping, and other company secretary duties
Advising regarding data privacy laws
What You'll Need
Significant experience and proven knowledge of negotiation of software license and consulting services agreements
Knowledge of UK and European Employment and Data Privacy Law
Both law firm and in-house experience preferred
University law degree and excellent academic credentials
Knowledge of languages in addition to English is preferred.
Able to work collaboratively and effectively
Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
Adaptable; able to switch approach/styles relevant to the situation
Ability to perform in a highly stressful, result-focused, environment
Demonstrates strong analytical skills
Travel throughout Europe, the Middle East and USA as required
