We are currently looking for a Proposal Analyst to join our Sales Operations team.

Your Impact

In the Proposal Analyst role, the employee will be responsible for editing/creating, processing, coordinating and issuing proposals. The position requires close interaction with Sales personnel, Service Engineers, Consultants and Project Administrators. Related activities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Coordinating proposal issuance and activities

  • Log requests and maintain proposal request log

  • Meet proposal and bid tender deadlines

  • Chase the proposal approvers and help secure parallel approvals for time critical deadlines

  • Track and archive proposals for a particular region or business area

  • Document approvals for audit and SOX-compliance

  • Compile proposals (involves gathering information, proofreading, editing, verifying costs and formatting)

  • Creating and maintaining relationships with the Sales, Consulting and Service personnel corresponding to the applicable region or industry to which the position is assigned; meeting with these individuals as necessary to develop proposals which match their business opportunities.

  • Attending meetings and preparing proposal reports.

  • Assisting with maintenance of proposal templates; facilitating proposal template change requests if required.

  • Acting as back up to other Sales Administrators and other proposal specialists (in and outside the EMEA region).

  • Undertaking special projects as assigned.

What You'll Need

  • A conscientious self-starter/team player with excellent written and oral communication skills (English language; speaking multiple languages would be a plus).

  • Able to demonstrate actual experience and proficiency in technical or commercial proposals.

  • Detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking efficiently.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and CRM applications; they should be willing to learn these and other software applications as needed.

  • Comfortable working as a cross-trained team member in a geographically-dispersed and fast-paced international environment, able to redirect efforts easily and maintain a consistent pace.

  • Outgoing and accommodating, yet able to enforce established processes and standards.
