The sales support provided to the Global sales teams is vitally important to the smooth running of the AspenTech business. The Senior Sales Operations Coordinator is a Sales Operations function that provides best-in-class deal management support to Global field sales and inside sales, with primary responsibility to support the local regional sales team. The Senior Sales Operations Coordinator can be viewed as an extension of the sales teams helping them hit or exceed their number each quarter.
This position is based out of the x regional office. The Senior Sales Operations Coordinator is part of a Global Deal Management team, responsible for providing support during the quote to contract process. Developing strong relationships with peers and business partners is critical. An ability to work in a diverse, fast-paced environment is a priority.
Administration of the Authorization and Approvals policy (A&A policy) involving analysis of pricing and deal structure elements, coordinating the approval process by obtaining approvals per policy, and ensuring compliance to both process and policy.
Process various software license quotes using our Oracle ERP system (software license agreements, contract amendments, supersede agreements, assignment agreements, evaluation agreements, etc).
Create, complete and maintain the Oracle quotes in a responsive manner
Submit requests for new/update Oracle account details to the customer admin database via a team based in our Corporate HQ
Enter product, pricing and licensing configuration into the Oracle quote.
Verify data integrity of the pricing documents, approval forms, and the quote.
Work and liaise with the Contract Administration team and the extended ‘approvals’ team to ensure smooth seamless contract drafting.
Assist in the preparation of professional service proposals and contracts as required. This will involve working with the services proposal analyst on standard proposal creation and the services pricing approval process.
One-to-one training of sales account managers on the sales support process to ensure sales people are aware of the information required when submitting their quote requests (correctly compiled pricing documents, approved Discount Approval form or Deal Model Approval Form, Dongle confirmation from customer, proof of customer’s legal entity and address details, etc).
Manage global workload with Deal Management team members to optimize speed of delivery and responsiveness to the sales team using a global follow-the-sun approach.

Experience working in a fast-paced international sales environment.
Experience working on commercial contracts, commercial/technical proposals, order processing, sales forecasting systems, and/or ERP systems
Knowledge of Oracle and Salesforce.com.
Working knowledge of Excel.
Language requirements: English (required), second language skills would be advantageous but are not essential
