The Role

This position is responsible for selling software licenses and consulting services directly to assigned customer accounts.

Your Impact

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales quota.

  • New account development and lead generation.

  • Achieve assigned objectives of sales pipeline development.

  • Manage day to day sales process, coordinate account meetings, and coordinate sales support resources.

  • Provide sales and executive management with account updates, sales forecasts, etc.

  • Coordinate and lead multidivisional account teams.

  • Work as a team member on sales efforts involving global account opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain customer contacts at assigned accounts.

What You'll Need

  • A minimum of eight years demonstrated success in direct sales of software solutions.

  • Five years experience selling to customers in the (Chemical/Energy/Petroleum/Food/Pharmaceutical, etc.) industry.

  • Significant experience leading multimillion dollar sales campaigns.

  • Proficient at establishing and cultivating "C" level consultative relationships.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Personal computer literacy.

  • A University degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent).

  • Self-discipline and motivation to produce results.

  • Additional consideration for candidates with:

  • Chemical Engineering or relevant technical degree

  • Specific industry knowledge and experience

  • Familiarity with Aspen or similar products ( e.g. - process modeling, advance process control / real time optimization, manufacturing execution systems and planning and scheduling solutions)
